Coronavirus Prevention

Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland is committed to providing clean and healthy family-centered spaces for families to rest, recharge and connect with one another. The health and well-being of our guest families, staff, volunteers and community are our top priority.
Therefore, in an effort to minimize the spread of COVID-19 we have decided on the following:

PROGRAM SUSPENSIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
The Ronald McDonald House is currently unable to accept or approve new room requests. Families who are currently at the House may continue their stay. Social distancing and other recommended policies and procedures have been implemented.

Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at all locations are temporarily closed.

The STAR Center at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Outpatient Center is temporarily closed.

All in-person volunteer activities have been temporarily suspended, including regular shift volunteers and meal groups.

The 8th Annual A Night at the Races, scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2020 has been cancelled.

The Pull Tab Palooza, scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2020 has been postponed.

HOUSE VISITORS
Non-essential visitors are temporarily excluded from entering the House.

Essential visitors will be screened for risk factors before being permitted to enter the House.

DONATIONS
Non-essential item donations, including but not limited to pull tabs, toys and blankets will not be accepted at this time.

Essential item donations such as food, toiletries, paper products, cleaning products and gift cards will be accepted for outside drop-off.

Your support via monetary and food donations will be even more important in the weeks ahead. Due to the suspension of meal groups, monetary and grocery gift card donations are critically needed. If you are able, please consider a contribution. We, and our families, are grateful for your help.
